制作に形式はなく、その時気になった、多様な材料を用いて制作をする。スキンシップが好きで、人間観察が得意、それが時に模倣を超える発想を生み出している。チラシ、コピー紙等収集し、どこへ行くにもバッグに持参。制作意欲に波があり、急に描きたくなり移動中にも紙とペンを求めるときもあれば、買い物に出掛けたり、収集品の整理をして一日を終えることもある。

There is no particular style to Yuji’s artistic activity. Each time he works, he draws with whatever materials that interest him. He enjoys physical contact. He is good at observing others; he goes beyond mimicking and comes up with an amazing inspiration. He collects advertisement fliers and photocopied articles. And he takes everywhere he goes in his bag. He is sometimes motivated and sometimes he is not. When he feels the urge to draw, he asks for a pen and paper even on his way somewhere. On some days, he prefers to spend the whole day doing shopping or sorting out his collection of paper.
